Statutory
The Alliance organises regularly meetings of its decision-making bodies, which are the Council of Ministers and the General Assembly. The Sessions are held in a member country on the invitation of the government of the said country, or at the headquarters of the Alliance.

Economic
The Alliance participates in:

• Planning for this Web site
• Conducting meetings and international workshops on cocoa
• Implementing and monitoring of the production management programmes of member countries
• Publishes weekly market reviews and provides analyses on market fundamentals

Scientific
The Alliance contributes in the promotion of scientific research activities on cocoa. It organises triannually the International Cocoa Research Conferences.
